Development of an innovative ultrasonic based nondestructive evaluation system for the characterisation of virgin and impact damaged carbon fibre reinforced thermoset matrix composite materials for aerospace applications. The characterisation is aimed at the prediction of the residual mechanical properties of the composite laminates.
