Development of an innovative ultrasonic based nondestructive evaluation system for the quality control of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) assembly devices for railway traction applications. The characterisation is focused on the quality verification of the soldered interfaces of the multi-layer structure of the IGBT assembly device.
