5th I*PROMS Virtual Conference on Innovative Production Machines and Systems

The 5th Virtual Conference on Innovative Production Machines and Systems (IPROMS 2009) has been an outstanding success, attracting thousands of registered delegates and guests from countries across the globe in the period between 6 and 17 July 2009. Through its web-based format, IPROMS 2009 has provided an unrivalled, convenient medium for researchers to disseminate and promote their work.

Many people and organisations have helped make IPROMS 2009 a reality. We are grateful to all our sponsors, authors, Conference Programme Committee, Special Session Organisers, Session Chairmen, I*PROMS partners, I*PROMS Central Coordination Team and MEC colleagues, without whom IPROMS 2009 would not have taken place.

Thank you all for your great support.
