- Re-print of short run; due to quality problems or more frequently administrative issues on order numbers or incorrect counting
ANSALDO BREDA - University of Naples
Development of an innovative ultrasonic based nondestructive evaluation system for the quality control of Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) assembly devices for railway traction applications. The characterisation is focused on the quality verification of the soldered interfaces of the multi-layer structure of the IGBT assembly device.
ALENIA - University of Naples
Development of an innovative ultrasonic based nondestructive evaluation system for the characterisation of virgin and impact damaged carbon fibre reinforced thermoset matrix composite materials for aerospace applications. The characterisation is aimed at the prediction of the residual mechanical properties of the composite laminates.
Aviva Case Study - University of Newcastle
The drive for process efficiencies in banking and insurance is a result of fierce competitive markets where cost efficiencies and operational effectiveness are fundamental to long-term success. Increasingly financial organisations are recognising that manufacturing methodologies can and do play a vital part in delivering the fundamentals of such improvements. In this short consulting intervention ISRU was invited to review the effectiveness of a visual management tool in a corporate IT support function. This particular corporate IT function supports the global voice and data communication requirements of the organisation’s top 800 executives; demanding service levels are set and on time delivery is expected.
