5th Int. Conf. on Recent Advances in Space Technologies - RAST 2011

20/08/2010

I would like to draw your attention to the space conference that will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, during 9-11 June 2011, under the title 5th International Conference on Recent Advances in Space Technologies - RAST 2011. RAST 2011 has a special significance in that it coincides with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Air Force. As such, it is planned to be a major part of the centennial celebrations. The main theme, "The Future is in the Skies", is taken from an incredibly visionary statement of Ataturk, when he predicted in 1936 that mankind would travel in space. The scope of the conference covers many space related topics, but in particular, we wish to stress visions for the future. Call for paper details are available at the URL www.rast.org.tr.
